The Surgery is open between
8am and 1pm and again between 2pm and 6.30pm on week days.
You can still access
medical care outside these times (out of hours).
Doctors
appointments
The Doctors offer daily surgeries for both routine and
emergency appointments. Normal morning surgeries start between 8.30 and 9
am.
Afternoon and evening surgeries vary in there starting time depending
on what other specialist activity the doctor is doing. Each doctor offers some
late appointments on at least one evening a week. The last bookable
appointment is 6.00pm
Appointments for all
doctors are booked at 10 minute intervals. Each appointment is therefore 10
minutes long. If you feel you require a longer appointment then please ask the
receptionist at the time of booking the appointment.
Extended Hours from 5.11.08
We now offer
appointments outside our normal hours on Wednesday and Thursday mornings
from 7.00am and on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings until 8.00pm.
These are for pre booked appointments only - there is no walk in service
There will be
no telephone access to the surgery before 8.00am or after 6.30, the doors
will be locked and access will only be permitted to patients with
appointments.
Patients
requiring emergency care before 8.00am and after 6.30pm should telephone
EMDOC in the usual way.
Nurses
appointment
The nurses offer daily surgeries. Morning surgeries begin
at 9 am and appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals. Afternoon surgeries
begin at 2 pm unless there is a specialist nurse clinic going on.
