Post Operative Wound Care
We provide a post-operative care service for registered and temporarily registered patients who need to have sutures removed and general wound care following a hospital day case or inpatient procedure
Appointments for this clinics can only be made at the request of the doctor or nurse. You will usually be asked to report to the receptionist and advice her that you have been asked to make the relevant appointment. An appointment date and time will then be sent to you. If the given appointment is inconvenient for you then please phone the surgery and rearrange it.
Health visitors are nurses who have had additional training to care for the family. Traditionally they have looked after the needs of mothers from 10 days after the birth, a point at which the Midwife relinquishes care. They are also the first port of call if you have any concerns about your child. Again, traditionally, they will remain involved in the care of your child until he/she is 5 years old.
Health Visitors for the Elderly
Health Visitors also care for the needs of Elderly people and are always willing to attend an elderly person by appointment to discuss any special needs that they may have.
If the doctor or nurse has asked you to have a blood test then you are required to attend one of the local phlebotomy services.
Call 0203 930 0245 for a booked appointment and avoid the wait at the hospital
We regret that the surgery can not make appointment for patients to have their blood taken at the surgery. We do sometimes make exceptions for the elderly.
